Located 65 miles southwest of Richmond, Virginia, Fort Pickett will be the primary location for Cadet training during both Class 29 and Class 30. Originally tasked with training troops that would hit the beach at Normandy, Fort Pickett is now home to the Virginia National Guard and provides many resources to train up Guardsmen ready to deploy. The base is also in close proximity to other military installations including Langley Air Force Base, Fort Eustis, and Marine Corps Base Quantico.
